Overcome Staffing Challenges by Unlocking the Power of Remote Professionals -

Why and when can you use off-site team members?

There are many scenarios when using an off-site team member makes sense. Check out some examples below used by our clients:

Interim support. Off-site team members can provide that temporary support perfect for vacation, longer term leaves or maternity coverage.

Tasks that don’t need a full-time person. Tasks can include reservation reminders, hygiene recare calls or even unscheduled treatment follow-up.

Tasks that take up too much time. Insurance verification is a good example. We know that hold times can be upwards of an hour! This is not a good use of your onsite team’s time. Use an off-site team member to get the information you need so you can do other tasks.

Billing. You need specialized support like billing or following up with claims.

Phones are not being answered and on-site team is too busy doing other things.

You need help producing more. Some offices use remote team members to help follow up with unscheduled patients like those due for recare appointments.  Understand the benefits of using remote team members, including how to increase margins and create a better work-life balance for your team.

Guest Speaker:

She has built and has managed a dental practice for over 10 years and has her Bachelor of Neurobiology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to her work in dentistry, she conducted brain tumor research at UCSF, assisted in the integration of IT into clinics and hospitals, and later led the development of community-wide healthcare systems, including telemedicine efforts.
